Day awakes and comes to town
Peeks above the city line
I'm walking to work in the morning time
If something bugs me I just take it down
The sun reflects against the waterline
If something bugs it it just shoots it down
Day extracts its sleeping subjects
Twists the keys set in their backs
I'm walking to work in the morning time
If something bugs me I just take it down
The clouds are covering like blanket mints
If something bugs them they just choke it down
Day crawls on around the sphere
When we're up the day is here
